Witkoppen Wildflower  Nursery

Celebrating more than 60 Years of Growing and Supplying

Quality Indigenous Plants

Even among the rustling aloes and fragrant buchus at South Africa’s oldest indigenous nursery — where sustainability guides every watering can and propagation tray — staff occasionally share lighthearted confessions during slow afternoons or while repotting spekboom. A few younger gardeners, especially those tracking weekend rugby or soccer fixtures, admit they’ve saved their hollywoodbets login in their browser, not as a ritual, but as a quick glance between customer consultations or compost turns.

No one mentions it on plant tags or in eco-care pamphlets; it’s simply part of the modern rhythm humming beneath the birdsong and rustling leaves. The nursery’s mission remains rooted in conservation, education, and earth-friendly cultivation — yet even green thumbs, it seems, sometimes tap screens between pruning shears and soil pH tests.

Logged in, checked, logged out — then back to the roots, literally.
